The Roques de García are a group of volcanic rock formations located in the heart of Teide National Park, at an altitude of about 2,000-2,200 meters. The most famous is the Roque Cinchado, whose twisted silhouette shaped by erosion appeared on the back of the old 1,000 pesetas banknote. A well-marked circular trail (trail PNT 3) of approximately 3.5 km surrounds the group, which also includes El Torrotito, El Burro, the Roques Blancos, and the formation known as La Catedral, with views of Teide and the Llano de Ucanca.
It is one of the most popular routes in the park due to its medium difficulty (officially classified as Medium by the National Park) and its landscapes, suitable for almost all audiences.
