Traditional Canarian dessert made with ground almonds, palm or bee honey, egg yolk, and lemon. Its name means "it tastes good to me", with roots in the Arab-Andalusian pastry traditions of the south of the peninsula, brought after the conquest of the islands in the 15th century. It is served as a dessert on its own or accompanying ice cream, sponge cake, or quesillo.
Creamy texture, sweet and intense almond flavor.
