Las Galletas
Fishing village and marina in AronaDiving departure point in the southDive at Montaña Amarilla, volcanic cone

Las Galletas is a coastal area in the municipality of Arona, in the south of Tenerife, which retains its fishing village character alongside a marina (Marina del Sur). Its promenade runs along the coast between the pier and the black volcanic sand beach, with fresh fish restaurants reflecting the local maritime tradition. It is one of the most well-known diving departure points in the south of the island, with dives such as Montaña Amarilla, a yellow volcanic ash cone whose underwater landscape continues into reefs, arches, and caves.

This dive has an average depth of about 15 meters and a maximum around 25, with gentle currents, making it accessible to divers of different levels; in its waters, moray eels, garden eels, and angel sharks can be observed in the sandy bottoms.
