The tram connects the center of Santa Cruz with the university city and the historic center of La Laguna (World Heritage Site). It is the best way to move between both cities, avoiding traffic and parking. Line 1 makes the main route Santa Cruz ↔ La Laguna and Line 2 connects the most populated areas of both municipalities (La Cuesta, Taco, and Tíncer), linking with Line 1.
It operates frequently during the day. You can pay with the same ten+ card as the buses, which makes it very easy to combine tram and bus in the same trip.
