Anaga, Masca, Teide and TenoAncient laurel forest, Biosphere ReserveRoutes for all levels

Tenerife offers incredible landscapes for hiking: the ancient laurel forest of Anaga (Biosphere Reserve), the Masca ravine, the trails of Teide National Park, and the Teno massif. There are routes for all levels, from easy walks to challenging treks. To climb to the peak of Teide (3,715 m), you need to book in advance for trail 10 (Telesforo Bravo).

Reservations are managed on Tenerife ON (www.tenerifeon.es); from January 19, 2026, it is free only for Tenerife residents and children under 14, while from 09:00 to 17:00, residents of the rest of the Canary Islands pay 6 EUR and other visitors 15 EUR (with a discount if accompanied by a guide: 4 EUR for Canary residents / 10 EUR for non-residents). Wear appropriate footwear, bring water and layers: the weather at high altitudes changes quickly.
