Family winery located in El Sauzal, in the wine-growing region of northern Tenerife, whose wines are protected by the Tacoronte-Acentejo Designation of Origin. The Monje family's winemaking tradition dates back to 1750, and the current winery was built in 1956 and modernized in 1983 to open up to wine tourism. It offers daily guided tours (at 11:00, 13:00, and 16:00) that explore the winery and its barrel room, and tastings that combine their wines with Canarian cheeses, with the option to stroll through the vineyards.
It also has its own shop and a restaurant with a terrace, overlooking the vineyard, Teide, and the sea, where Canarian cuisine is served. Their vineyards grow on the volcanic soils characteristic of the northern slope of the island.
