Most visitors land at the South Airport (Tenerife Sur-Reina Sofía, TFS), close to Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos and Las Américas (20-40 min). The North Airport (TFN), near La Laguna, mainly handles domestic and inter-island flights and is close to Santa Cruz and Puerto de la Cruz. Transfer options: taxi (roughly fixed price per zone), private or shared transfer booked online (easiest with luggage or families), a rental car picked up at the airport, or the 343 bus linking both airports with the south.
If you book a private transfer, confirm it includes child seats if needed and allow enough margin for the return pick-up.
