The Mirador Altos de Baracán is located in the municipality of Buenavista del Norte, at km 12 of the road to Masca (TF-436), within the Teno Rural Park and atop the Teno massif. It is one of the points where the island's climatic contrast is best appreciated: on humid days, the green and cloudy north faces the dry and sunny south, and with luck, you can be in the sun while watching it rain just a few meters away. At your feet stretches the fertile El Palmar Valley, while to the west, the island of La Gomera peeks out, and to the south, the Teno massif unfolds its dense vegetation.

It used to serve as a meeting point for hikers traversing these Teno landscapes.
