The second most important carnival in Tenerife after Santa Cruz. More intimate and local, with street parades, comparsas, murgas, queen election and the traditional burial of the sardine. The atmosphere is more personal and authentic, with Puerto locals dressing up and dancing through the streets of the historic center.
